Dancing In The Rain - Alison Cowie and Nicklas Löfstrand

At the beginning, I put a different melody and chord progression in the chorus part of the song, but the whole song became long, I quit.Also, at first it was a quiet jazz blues, but when I shortened it changed to a different style. I do not quite understand the reason for myself :)
After all, I finished it as a simple D7 blues(Blue Note Scale).In my series of solo guitar, rhythm also has parts like melody and improvisation at the same time. I enjoy and finish practicing stacking those elements like buildings.I think that it is a very useful practice method to figure out how to use the song tone scale, the blue note scale, and the chord tone.
In order to simultaneously sound rhythm, melody and improvisation, picking style uses finger picking.
This time, because I used the old type of Stratocaster, there is noise remaining. Please forgive me  :))

My teenage daughter came up with a little composition she had made some time ago. This was the start of our first mother-daughter-collaboration. 
I added an intro and outro based on her chord progression and also some strings in the middle part. Apart from that the composition is hers. 
In the middle part we play together with four hands on an acoustic piano. With all the imperfections and inaccuracies that go along. 
We enjoyed doing this together, hope you enjoy listening.

Wanted to celebrate the last Wednesday of this week with a piano track. So I improvised a little bit on just a few chords. Imagine how great this track would have been with more chords and more than just 61 keys! Anyway I hope you like it.

Ghost in the Forest

I found this on my hard drive. It dates from four or five years ago. At the time, I thought it wasn’t enough of this or enough of that to post, while thinking it was also too much of the same thing. But now I like it, especially from the guitar player’s point of view. The sounds and interlocking parts please me. Maybe you will like them too.

I remember that I made this in vague tribute to one of my favorite players and musical mentors-at-a-distance.  He shall remain only partially named.  

For some reason, the “head,” such as it is, comes at the end. Go figure…
