04: Time Away - Tomorrow We Escape:
Making as little sound as possible, you use your flashlight to take a look at those that managed to join you on your flight from the camp. There's a big bearded fellow, looking at least twice your age, standing behind an older woman that looks like she's been crying for a week. She gives you a casual wave. "Hi, I'm Martha". You signal her to lower her voice. Also there's two young brothers? Twins by the looks of it and there's the woman you grabbed on your way out. She seems to be roughly your age and doesn't look half as afraid as you are. You're quickly distracted by new growling noises from outside. You bar the door and start investigating the barn. The big guy finds a trapdoor that leads to what seems to be a tunnel. This is your way out! You decide to wait out the night. Tomorrow you'll make your escape.

Here's how the events unfold in my chapter, I hope you can hear the storyline back in the music because that is what I was aiming for :)


Two weeks have passed and even though it feels like the whole world has been destroyed around you, you have found happiness in that which is still atainable... and of course there's Stephanie. Things are great between you two. You have both found your place in the settlement and play your part each day. Your phone's dead and you feel cut off from the world. The start of the third week brings your thoughts back to Ralph. Did he make it? Did he save his wife or did he end up dead in a ditch... or worse... part of the walking dead. Not even an hour later, there are shouts coming from the gate. Newcomers it seems. You head over to the gate to see but before you are there, you see a familiar face. Ralph just passed through the gate, followed by two other men and a woman. The latter must be his wife, you think... you hope... You wave at him frantically but he doesn't seem to notice you, his face drawn. Something isn't right. Now men at lookout points start pointing toward the north and shouting at each other. You head for your house and run up to the attic, closely followed by Stephanie... "What is it?". When you look from the small attic window, you see a slow moving mass... a horde... of undead coming in your direction. You aim the old telescope, that sits next to the window and your heart sinks. It's a sea... no... an ocean of undead... You do not see the end of it. No matter what, we will have to escape...again!

It's been a while since eddyoffline and I did a collab.  Mostly because he's always offline.  This one finally came together though.  I have never really played Reggae before and it shows. Thanks to eddy for sending me this track.  He plays an awesome bass in this as well as a solid rhythm guitar to hold things together.

and exposed a magnificent Hall,

And as each traveler had their drink, they did proceed to disappear.
Johnny had a drink and then he woke up in his bed
in his room
in his house
in his state
in his country
in his world.

ln ths welcomeless abode where tenants rights perptually erode
where bills are paid by humiliation and toil.
The air is full of burning oil
Where street lights outshine the moon
And dust has more rights than me
Awoken by faint sirens in the caccaphony
Whow is me who played that accorrdion for free
I fed the starving with golden tune and lifted up the many with melodies refined.
And hope spread golden
In keys made light
Humbled here and squandered in this wretched flight

IV.
Though in a way, this is a comfy place
And quaint.
And yet it feels like restraint that keeps me from the land of Zed
From where I wish I'd never fled.
How I long for how I yearn for rat and crow and monkey too
And even Roy who loves those blues.
And my accordion nowhere in sight occassionally late at night
Sings in the clouds and I remain within my shrouds
While smiling secretly with knowledge of a Gate
In my vicinity.
