🎧 "THE LONELY TAPES" is the second volume in this experimental series. This installment encapsulates the moods and uncertainty that consumed me while I was deciding my future in music, back around 2001. It combines desolate recordings of unresolved exercises and fragments from the conservatory (the dilemma of saying goodbye and classical training) with the first beats and textures emerging from new technologies and the development of computers (the challenge of the digital future)

The Italian pair recently remixed The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’, and managed to flip it from a once bright shining pop track into a true underground anthem with a great sense of style. Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds.
