Exodus 34:6-7 is one of the most concise, clear statements of God's nature that we have in Scripture. Moses' reaction to knowing God is an example for our own responses to God: theology always should lead to doxology.

Here are a few thoughts on Ephesians 1:4. This is not exactly an exegesis of the verse, as the intention is to focus on v.4a. Specifically: what is the meaning of "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world"? Glory with us in the graciousness of God and merit of Christ!

In Isaiah 6, the prophet records a vision he had of God. In this vision he is smitten with the reality of God's holiness and, in contrast, his own unholiness.
