Impulse

Written for a quartet of electronic instruments I designed in Sculpture.

Yes, I will begin... but with what tone? Can I draw myself up? What color may I be, to attempt a form of my own causa sui? May I be moral? In what structure, what care, what tablet? An activity of control, perhaps? Braced teeth, but minimal progress. --Oh, should it come to a close, then? Will I finish my willfulness under a shared branch? But, I would begin...

Clench (for electronic instrument quartet)

A piece about light and transience based on cycles through the modes of melodic minor. 

Opaline (Fresh Ink 2011 performance)

A pensive piece created using electronic instruments in Logic and Sculpture. 
Has also been performed with a string and piano quartet in 2011.

Mr. Perreault is a Good Man

Gavia immer is the latin name for the common loon. I wrote this song accompanied by the calls of several loons while living in a tent next to a lake in northern Minnesota.

Ceremony
