Robert Evan's is comically intellectually dishonest.

I've been an avid listener of this podcast for quite some time. This is why I'm so utterly dissapointed with this episode. Where to begin? No attempt at explaining the situation. Why are the people protesting? Who is leading them? Why do they want to smash up public property? There was no journalism here, just propaganda. No analysis. It was pretty much as senseless as the protests themselves. I'm interested in listening to oposing points of view, but this was just an uncurated rant.

First, we speak with Robert Evans. Evans is a conflict journalist whose work has appeared in Bellingcat. He’s also the host of the Behind the Bastards podcast, and a Portland resident who has been on the street of the city covering the events for weeks now. We also spoke with Alan Chin.
