With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's passionate approach to Electro whilst using music to tell a story and purvey a deeper meaning has made her stand out in recent years in the underground scene.

Angel Attack est un producteur et DJ basé à Boston (bientôt à Paris), fondateur du label @houseofreptile et résident chez INFRA Boston. Angel Attack est reconnu pour son univers sonore envoûtant et son esthétique sombre, naviguant entre techno, electro et plus encore, le tout magistralement mixé sur 3 ou 4 platines.

En tant que producteur, il se distingue par son approche non-conformiste, sa narration cinématographique et ses puissants rythmes cassés. Helena Hauff et Umwelt se connaissent bien. La hambourgeoise est en effet l’une des signatures du label Rave or Die dont le fondateur n’est autre que…  Umwelt. Il faut dire que les deux producteurs ont tout pour s’entendre. Ils partagent en effet un goût prononcé pour une techno brute, sombre et glaciale.

Autre point commun, Helena Hauff et Umwelt sont chacun à la tête d’un ou plusieurs labels : Return to Disorder pour elle, New Flesh, Shelter, Fundata et donc Rave or Die pour lui. Une manière pour ces deux jusqu’au-boutistes d’éviter les concessions, d’évoluer au rythme de leurs envies dans les méandres de l’underground. Entre noirceur et complicité, ce versus franco-allemand s’annonce donc sous les meilleurs auspices !

This is my second liveset. I have done it in the covid-'holiday'-time in April 2020. I had so much time for playing with my kids, making music and watching TV :D
It is all done with a Octatrack, a Novation Drumstation, a Novation A-Station, an Elektron Analog Drive, a Korg Monologue and a Roland VT-3. ....it goes all through a Mackie mixer and an Alesis Smashup compressor.

Welcome to the first Warehouse Manifesto 'In the Warehouse' mix. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it is finally here!

To kick-start the project, we have one of my favourite producers and vinyl DJs on the planet. The mighty @umwelt-music. Best described as 'the master of dark apocalyptic electro and futuristic sci-fi soundscapes'.

I started buying Umwelt's records in the late 90s and haven't stopped. Such a catalogue of amazing releases. He is the founder of such great labels as Rave or Die and New Flesh Records.

As a fellow vinyl enthusiast, he sets the bar when mixing records and I have been lucky enough to witness him DJ personally, so the bucket-list has been ticked, but can't wait to see him live again.

He has prepared a two-hour feast of electro, acid and techno for us and I am thrilled to be able to present this immense mix. Enjoy!
