Warfare Recordings finally presents its return to the Drum and Bass scene, following a long and unanticipated period of silence, that lasted more than 3 years. For our next installment we reveal to You our new concept series, entitled “Sofia Underground EP”. The main idea behind it being to feature both new and already established producers, hailing from our hometown of Sofia, Bulgaria.

In this first edition of the series, we feature a massive 3-track release, produced by some of our inner circle artists - Xylophobe, D-Mental and Faith. The release also serves to commemorate the loss of our friend and brother in arms  Xylophobe, real name Alexander Kovachev, who passed away in a tragic accident on the 7-th of October 2019. Although he remained relatively unknown to the general DnB population during his lifetime, he managed to leave a huge legacy of both finished and unfinished Drum and Bass masterpieces, the majority of which are to be featured on our future releases.

Jovan Ilic (Bons) is coming from Serbia, while Colony, composed of Graeme Wetenhal and Callum Smith, hail from the UK. The release they provide presents a unique blend of 2 totally different styles. Bons backs the heavier side of Neurofunk with 2 very different tunes - one dancefloor anthem and one heavy broken neuro banger, while Colony hit the Tech side of things, providing 2 straightforward tech funk rollers.

After a short break we return with another deadly release. Enlisting the Russian hitman Yuri Filippov, known as Deleted Sound, we break the cycle of a 3-month silence of transmission. This release comes in the form of 2 tracks, entitled Dirt and Shift, debuting the sonics of Deleted Sound and setting him up as a prominent name that is to look forward to.

Warfare Recordings present another monstrous release, featuring well-known Warfare associates Insom and Nothing to Lose & Echidna. Insom delivers a smashing clean neuro track with an incredible style, that has already proved him to be one of the best on the underground Neuro dnb scene. Manchester-based Nothing to Lose & Echidna, label owners of Grand Theft Audio Recordings, provide a little deviation from our dancefloor standard with the track 'Madman', which is a quality addition to Insom's 'Militia'.

We are back with yet another massive release, like always featuring some of the finest underground artists in neurofunk. This time UK native Sephiroth steps up to present his second incarnation for Warfare - a pounding 2-track release, entitled Tormentor EP. Both tracks are surgically designed to smash dancefloors and home systems alike. All this precision in the production leads to one of our finest releases up to date, properly named Tormentor, which carves an already well defined path for Sephiroth and the label itself.

Warfare presents it's 23rd objective - Time To Die EP, delivered by our Serbian sub-contractor Bons. The young Novi Sad-based recruit stays true to his Neurofunk assignment, delivering 2 massive tracks - a vip mix of his epic track Daemons, already released on our 16th release and the newly produced banger Time To Die. This release marks a breaking point for Warfare, as we will now be stepping up the game due to the increased demand for high quality Neurofunk around the globe.

Warfare welcomes Chillean monster Bizarro on his second release duty, after receiving his initiation in the order more than a year and a half ago with his first Warfare installment - Ugly Truth EP.This time, inputting another skilfully crafted sound design masterpiece, the young talent displays 2 priceless works of art in the field of Neurofunk, named simply Dada and Pulp, yet carrying a deep meaning behind them.

Based on the idea that a lot of current music does not make sense since it is influenced by marketing, Bizarro took the main concept of the anti-culture movement Dadaism (1923). In this way 'Dada' tries to capture the slogan of revealing itself against the current system, using the parameters away from the mainstream.

In the same line as 'Dada' comes 'Pulp', based on the literary movement of 1950, where publications were generated with a rustic and popular character. In this sense the song is composed of raw frequencies, with little depth, so that the sound is presented in violent and heavy.

This last release for the year 2018 marks the next step for the Warfare imprint. Originally established deep in the Underground, Warfare Recordings is slowly but surely coming to an increased development point, where we will be putting even more effort into spreading the Neurofunk infection around the globe, highly stepping up our game, continuing with the delivery of uncompromising Neurofunk sounds...

Aged only 19 years old and hailing from the Czech Republic, novice operative Confusion files his very 1st Warfare report on his newly assigned Neurofunk mission. Warfare welcomes its newest member - MV !! Real name Moises Hernandez, MV hails from the sunny island of Fuerteventura,Canary Islands. With several releases on labels such as Optikal Dubs, Hysteria Records, Darkside Records and Exitus Records, the man joins the Warfare Crew with a worthy Neurofunk release, composed of 3 tracks - Cosmere, Hyperion and Numbers.
