Rune is the personification of all our essence and our credo in music. Surreal paintings, imaginative wanderings, abandoned spaces, are among the myriad inspirations that attract Polish ambient producer Nasoshnik.


Most important of all is nature. Plants, trees, forests and birds all stake their claim on his haunting yet paradoxically uplifting organic-to-synthetic work. Along the walls in a countryside abode you’ll find a longbodied cellar spider, also known as the skull spider. In Polish, this is translated, “Nasoshnik.”


In the latest web of songs, spun into an EP, by the enterprising ambient musician, you’ll continually be presented with ideas rooted in the plant kingdom. The vegetative approach delivered the contemplative title track Butterbur Field. It designs a silent land of mystery allowing you to completely forget the XXI century world in an instant.

The Unicorn Crew is Annette Amon-Hassenzahl (Vocals) and Marc Hassenzahl (Music). They grew up in a club sub culture of song, sadness, and darkness so characteristic of the middle to end of the eighties decade. Their core belief of "more song, less technology" is immediately apparent when you experience their music first hand.

Sonic artistry is the best way to really describe "Time." Taking this track and creating three different versions of it which are directly related however take the listener in a different direction with each and every version. This provides listeners with a superb experience. Nu Disco never sounded so good.

Laroz Camel Rider a.k.a. Laroz Haim's music is a mixture of contemporary tech house, deep house and dance club music, while also bringing in the sound of his home and culture with world music of the Mediterranean. These elements teamed with Hagar Samir's Egyptian Groove style vocals which are based upon classical egyptian motives come together in this track to create a work that touches the soul and ignites one's senses upon every listening opportunity. Taking this song to the next level are three remixes that compliment the original work ever so splendidly.

Shai T's remix of Smalah Aleik takes the original work in a deeper direction. Shai T is known for his own production that varies between different parts of the House music realm such as Nu disco, Deep House, Vocal House, Tech House and Progressive House. This experience is very apparent in his take on the original as it embraces the beauty of it while pushing it into a different direction.

Smay's diverse taste in music and sounds come through in his remix taking this track in a more progressive direction. Perky synths combined with a deep bassline and prominent percussion brings a higher energy feel to this track while bringing more prominence to the the vocals during carefully selected breaks. All of these elements keep the listener engaged from start to finish.

DJ Khaikhan moves Smalah Aleik in a more downtempo lounge direction. His wide musical spectrum varies from elegant lounge tunes to uplifting House sets, and from Deep House to EDM styles. Focussing on the mood bringing with it a prominent bassline allowing the organic instruments used within this remix to have a prominent contribution to the track.
