Be Kind. A simple statement, good advice and the DJ behind Shell Tape 75. Good vibes abound in this mix - a bashful smile slides through the soundwaves for the entirety of the hour. There’s no one genre or style that anchors the mix, no localised focus nor dogmatic dedication to labels nor concern with being on the cutting edge. 

Instead, Be Kind. hones in on the hard to pin down idea of dancefloor discipleship; the simultaneously ubiquitous and unique experience of interconnectivity that floods nightclubs, warehouses, lounge rooms or paddocks whenever something resembling a beat collides with a group of friends (past, present or future).

Wiggly worm acid lines tie together perfectly accessible house and techno, helter skelter stylistic choices are wrapped in warm low end hugs and, most importantly, each track receives a Be Kind. kiss on the forehead. For my third and final mix in the debut Soundcloud series an assortment of heavy hitting gems from tribal house, dubby breaks and up into heaving techno. 

Note:: Where warehouse raves are closed, back tin sheds suffice.

Not often associated with techno and electronica in the club scene or bars, I pounced on the chance to go hard in the paint with a few long lost tracks held in the listening library coming out to play.
