At the core of the project is Anaco, Olympe’s Franco-Spanish friend, whose voice messages became the foundation for the tracks. Their words touch on bisexuality, the tension between visibility and erasure, and the contradictions of self-definition in a world that imposes rigid categories. These ideas are embedded in the music, not just in the lyrics, but in the structure, contrast, and energy of each track.

"Nos Sexualizan" is heavier and more high-energy, driven by pounding rhythms and deep basslines. "Con La Mujer" is more introspective but still built for the dancefloor. It layers evolving synths and arpeggios over a relentless groove, while Anaco reflects on belonging and legitimacy. The track builds tension before reaching a release that mirrors the push and pull of self-perception. "Showtime" is fast-paced and playful, exploring identity as both expression and performance. Shuffling hi-hats, rolling bass, and sharp drops create a sense of momentum, shifting between control and abandon. It captures the thrill of stepping into the spotlight, embracing transformation, and rejecting fixed definitions.

MUTANTE is both a statement and an experience, personal, physical, and always in motion.

Belgian label brokeboi records returns with a fresh new release from emerging artist samee, a project rooted in club culture but unafraid to wander across borders.
His 4-track EP, landing April 25, dives headfirst into a hybrid soundworld of breaks, bass, and globally inspired rhythm.  

Having quietly evolved from previous work, samee steps into their own lane here. Driven by movement, the EP is playful, physical, and deeply textured.
Tracks like "piki piki" and "bamako" draw inspiration from African musical traditions, blending deep hitting vocals with rolling low-end pressure and bright, off-grid percussion. It’s club music with a wide lens.

Across the four cuts, samee balances the raw energy of the dancefloor with a detail-oriented production style that rewards repeat listens.
The result is a project that feels just as at home in peak-time sets as it does on home speakers, an intentional duality.

Meg Ward Announces Mega Wavy Collabz with New Single ‘Ready 2 Feel’ -  A Reunion with Murg

Electronic music powerhouse Meg Ward officially unveils her new collaborations project, Mega Wavy Collabz, with the release of ‘Ready 2 Feel’, a high-energy club weapon crafted alongside longtime friend and fellow DJ/producer Murg. While this marks the second single from the series, it serves as the official launch of the project: a celebration of creative synergy, friendship, and raw underground energy.
Meg and Murg have a great history. The two first met at university in Newcastle, where they both held residencies at the legendary Cosmic Ballroom, a proving ground for up-and-coming electronic artists in the city’s underground scene. Since then, their paths have continued to intertwine, most notably on their 2022 release ‘Sancturance’ on Unknown To The Unknown, which gained strong support from underground tastemakers such as Jennifer Cardini. Now, they reunite for ‘Ready 2 Feel’, a track that channels moody electronica textures, rolling basslines, and speed garage influence.
The artwork for the single features a throwback photo from a gig they played together at legacy venue Wire in Leeds in 2017, capturing their Yorkshire roots and their early days behind the decks. For Meg, this release is more than just another track, it’s a moment that reflects the friendships and collaborations that have shaped her journey.
Speaking about the release and the Mega Wavy Collabz project, Meg Ward shares:
 "This project is all about collaboration and shining a light on the artists who’ve been part of my journey. Murg and I go way back, from our Newcastle days to releasing ‘Sancturance’ together, so it felt right to announce Mega Wavy Collabz with this track. ‘Ready 2 Feel’ is a reflection of our influence, full of raw cuts, and built for the rave."
‘Ready 2 Feel’ lands 18th April, leading into the Mega Wavy Collabz compilation campaign, with two more singles to come before the whole VA drops on 16th May. To celebrate, Meg is throwing a launch party at The Glove That Fits in London on 16th May, bringing together collaborators and friends for a night of forward-thinking club sounds.
The Mega Wavy Collabz series will continue throughout the year, with Meg curating a lineup of artists who bring their own unique touch to the underground club scene. Following the success of ‘Bongo’s Bingo’, this second release sets the tone for what’s to come: big collaborations, high-impact dance music, and a project driven by the true spirit of raving.
‘Ready 2 Feel’ by Meg Ward & Murg drops 18th April. The Mega Wavy Collabz compilation follows on 16th May, with the official launch party at The Glove That Fits in London.

After three years and numerous club events, festival showcases, vernissages, and DJ workshops, we want to give something back: We are proud to officially share our first compilation with you. A compilation by FLINTA* Artists - as a tribute to the years of support we have received and as a sign of the visibility and also achievements of the community. We are pleased to announce that Layers will now also be a music label for FLINTA* producers and artists.

As a kickoff, a total of 11 artists will release nine tracks on our first compilation (LAY001). All proceeds generated by the compilation will be donated to GLADT - an independent self-organisation of black and colour of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people who have teamed up to offer workshops, counselling and awareness raising in their respective fields.

NANCY Live brings her signature blend of high-octane techno and trance to the production – gritty, euphoric, and unrelenting. Her sound is rooted in the queer underground but built for peak-time systems: acid-tinged textures, rolling low-end, and fast, club-ready pacing. With Meg’s vocal cutting through the mix, the result is a proper rave weapon with just the right amount of camp.

Meg Ward’s new compilation Mega Wavy Collabz lands 16 May on her own label, Mega Wavy. A six-track collection built entirely through collaboration; the project celebrates club culture, queer energy and the creative communities that surround her.

Each track sees Meg working closely with a different artist, blending UK-rooted dance styles with a shared sense of fun, pressure and personality. From garage and minimal to warped rave cuts and driving percussion, the compilation moves fluidly through the sounds that have shaped Meg’s recent sets and studio sessions.

“This project is about connection and community,” Meg says. “Every track came from a moment of shared energy. It’s been a way of documenting the different creative pockets I’ve been part of recently. It’s raw, personal and built for the dance floor.”

Meg Ward + Junior Simba - Relentless IV

Meg Ward returns with FOUR FOUR HEAT, a collaborative cut with Bklava and Nick Clev, out 16 May via her label Mega Wavy. It marks the final single from Mega Wavy Collabz, Ward’s various artists compilation celebrating queer expression and connection across the UK club spectrum.
Minimal in structure but rich in detail, FOUR FOUR HEAT blends UK garage swing with percussive house sensibilities. Bklava’s vocal is repurposed in sharp fragments, chopped and textured into the rhythm like an instrument, with Nick Clev’s groove-forward production driving the track into deeper territory. The low end carries serious weight, anchoring the track with a sense of momentum and pressure built for late-night dancefloors.
“Working with Bklava and Nick came really naturally,” says Ward. “We wanted to let our different styles breathe without overcomplicating anything. This track is about tension, space and rhythm, keeping things simple but impactful.”
The release also marks Nick Clev’s first official track, adding a debut moment to the collaborative energy behind the compilation.
The full Mega Wavy Collabz compilation also lands 16 May, featuring collaborations between Ward and artists across the underground including Harry Gay, Murg, Nick Clev, Bklava, NANCY Live, Blood Type and Junior Simba. The project spans a range of UK-rooted club sounds, with each track shaped by shared creative energy and community spirit.
