WFYB returns from the radio summer break and @Noctuaa will get a bit melancholic this time. Maybe it's because we slowly have to accept that this beautiful summer is coming to an end?

Noctua from Erfurt covers a wide range of electronic music with her sound and usually varies between acid, ambient, breakbeat, electro and techno. Since this year she is not only part of @existence-content but also a resident. Moreover, she actively supports @kf-pnyx in their current projects.

Ein wunderbar unkonventioneller und wohltuender Sound aus House, Breaks, Bass und Contemporary Club kommt mit dem step045 von Sui. Gekonnt verspielt übergeht sie die Genregrenzen und modelliert ihre eigene Klangästhetik. In Frankfurt musikalisch sozialisiert ging ihr Weg über Leipzig nach Weimar, wo sie aktuell experimentelles Radio studiert. Neben unterschiedlichsten Engagements in der Clubkultur, bei Workshops und Podiumsdiskussionen ist Sui ein Teil des FLINTA-Netzwerkes L1CK und eine starke Stimme im Kampf gegen das Patriachart in der Musikszene. Vielen Dank für deinen Einsatz in der Szene und den tollen Mix moderner Ausdrucksmusik für uns.

A wonderfully unconventional and soothing sound of House, Breaks, Bass and Contemporary Club comes with the step045 by Sui. Playfully she transcends genre boundaries and models her own sound aesthetic. Musically socialized in Frankfurt, her path went via Leipzig to Weimar, where she is currently studying experimental radio. The iconic Klub K4 is celebrating 28th anniversary with a special musical treat by it's former and still iconic residents + a very special 4h DJ set of Umek's electro love child Zeta Reticula.

On reviving his alias, UMEK notes: 

“Zeta Reticula is one of my passion projects I’ve been developing since around 2000. I reanimated Zeta Reticula as my love child from pure joy of making music that I like. I love Zeta as it allows me to live out my melodic frustrations, which could be perceived as too commercial if I’d channelled them into techno, while they work perfectly in the context of electro.”

Klub K4 is a special location for many in Europe. The beginnings of the club coincide approximately with the beginning of the last, more liberal period of Yugoslavia, which officially opened its doors in 1989.

It's an absolute pleasure to present you with this very special mix from Monster. Known for her energetic and euphoric selections inside the booth, outside the booth the Oramics member is a staunch champion of Poland's underground electronic music community.

This mix is a perfect example of why she's one of our favourite DJs, as she delivers a dazzling nearly two hour long mix that seamlessly slithers through electro and breakbeat frequencies before building up to powerful peak-time bliss.

In Monster's own words:
A two-hour-long mix that almost feels like two different mixes, the buildup is long, lazy and bass heavy, but when the combo of taurine and caffeine hits it doesn't let go until the end.
