Here is the first edition of Free. This was our first go at the track from getting an idea down from our heads into something. This whole section of track was done in one sitting (4-5 hours I think)

The main reason the track changed was down to trying out a softer sounding string (Yamaha I believe) with a much shorter attack, which ended up changing the atmosphere a lot. 
The breaks were thrown together quickly to act as a metronome hence there not being much change in them.
The vocals and the flute were just first time experiments to see how they sounded together.
Nothing is mixed down and from what I can remember every sound is dry unless it came with an effect from the specific unit. (The track was written almost 2 years ago and I really can't remember all the nitty gritty bits)
