The theme of Isaiah 49 was of hope and restoration. My friend Ben suggested the verse on the back of a theme we had been working with the night before. We had been that day discussing with a sculptor the expression of art through various mediums including; sound, light, color and technical based sciences alongside mathematics etc. Straight to the workshop, logic called at the early hours numbing the fingers and straining the eyes at such abstract hours. The season new afresh. We had a song. 

Producer Notes: The song ‘Isaiah 49’ takes you on a fluid journey of color. Close your eyes, and don’t be afraid to turn up the gain. This song is designated for soaking and looking up not down. Enjoy. 


Isaiah 49 - Deep House

Fresh to the Warped House imprint is newcomer Chris Hodgson with his first two track EP – Lingo. A double header of deep techno grooves at the lower end of the BPM scale bringing much needed funk to any DJ set.

The first track on this EP – Four Vowels, is a funky techno number for the darkside with twisted stabs and deep rolling sub bassline. Add to this his touch of well placed percussion, Chris has delivered a funky track that would work any techno dancefloor from warm-up to peak time.

Back Flash complements the first track on this EP extremely well with more rolling deep bassline, double kicks and funky hits but takes a more driving approach lifting the pitch yet still keeping the experience dark and deep. with his Signature percussion makes this track one of our favourite techno tracks of the moment.
