This  song was written,arranged and recorded by Warren in 10 hours and preformed by the  New York Military Academy by their concert band at the Cornwall Memorial Day parade and later televised at the National Purple Heart Hall of Honors in New Windsor New York as well.Since then  it has  been performed at various VFW throughout the Nation by Veterans and recorded on a debut album by the Late Show Gospel Choir under the masterful direction of Diva Lady Peachena. This Choir has performed on the Late Show with David Letterman 13 times

Purple Hearted Heroes - first recording

Warren Michaels has been writing songs for 40 years
it has been just recently that his name has been
associated with Patriotic Theme Songs known throughout
the Nation due to widespread Press and word of mouth

Warren began his Patriotic Trek through the Music industry
in 2007 when he was asked to write a song for National Purple
Heart Hall of Honors "Purple Hearted Heroes"

This happened coincidentally while the Choir from the Newburgh Free
Academy in N Y was performing his Theme song for Lady Liberty
'Lady by the Sea'

Warren is also notated for his Theme Song for Toys for Tots
"Toys for Tots Train' was proudly posted on its National Site in 2010

Please go through his music remembering that most of Mr Michaels
music was written in the 80's and a bit dated, just enjoy the mood ,the message

All of Mr Michaels' music is somewhat Philosophical as he has both a very
serious side while having a keen sense of Humor.
