Dance duo KOLIDESCOPES release their second single of 2019 on newly launched label Humble Angel Dance. Focus is unashamedly uplifting: a pop-leaning house cut that simply screams summer. 

KOLIDESCOPES are Australia’s Johnny Castro and the UK’s Dan Dare. Released last year, their single ‘All My Love’ proved an international hit, sitting pretty in the top 10 Upfront Club Charts, peaking at #6. 

Following the release of Want It earlier this year – a melodic, intricately textured, synth-led anthem – they’re following it up in exemplary style with Focus, a joyous, pop-leaning house cut complete with powerful vocals and euphoric chords that simply scream summer.  

Before forming KOLIDESCOPES with Dan, Johnny was one half of electro pop duo Parachute Youth whose platinum-selling ‘Can’t Get Better Than This’ reached the  #1 spot in nine countries worldwide. 

Dan’s entry into the industry was as a member of grime’s Gritty Committee before adopting the SLANG moniker under which he produced ‘Bright Lights’, a collab between Wiley, Giggs and Juelz Santana. More recently under the name Dan Dare, he’s produced hits for the likes of Charli XCX, Marina & The Diamonds and WSTRN.

As KOLIDESCOPES, they’ve already made a name for themselves with their deeply hazy house anthems, characterized by supple, chugging basslines, evocative vocals and sparsely beautiful synthlines. 

Focus is the second in a series of singles from KOLIDESCOPES, with further releases planned throughout 2019.

Warren's music is all about energy and emotion. The Irish producer merges electronic and melodic influences with commercial elements, as he seeks to represent a place where electronic dance meets pop.

First gaining recognition for his uplifting, melodic remixes of the likes of Kaskade, Mako and CLMD that racked up major success on SoundCloud, he developed a passion for producing and songwriting, and soon turned his focus to releasing originals from 2017 onwards. Since then he has gone on to release with some of the biggest labels in dance music, including Hardwell's Revealed Recordings and Martin Garrix's STMPD RCRDS, as well as several independent releases along the way.

Having his music played by the likes of Tiesto, Nicky Romero and Matisse & Sadko to name a few, the London-based artist is set to make 2024 his biggest year yet with a string of original vocal tracks ready for release as he looks to build on what has been an exciting start to his career.
