Omni Psych

ONLY ME is an album of songs. For SoundCloud I have included only my own compositions.
IN ALL OF US is inspired by the tale of a friend who was advised by his doctor to “…learn to like broccoli”. It became an exercise in finding rhymes for the word ‘asparagus’ and, with suitable artistic licence, there are plenty of them, including the oesophagus, Pythagoras, a rhinoceros and even ‘….my mum’s chiropodist’.
THE DEAL has more serious lyrics which sort of sum up a positive approach to life: ‘..so much to see and so much to do, that’s the deal’.
CONTROL-ALT-DELETE is about the infamous PC facility of the same name used for……well, all sorts of things. Again, the lyrics are intentionally absurd, satire for the PC user. I worked in IT so I am one of the ‘IT weirdos’. Hope you spot the reference to King Lear.
I wrote ASPIRE as one of a trio of songs about technology (Control-Alt-Delete is another). The lyrics are completely made up. The characters do not exist and the events never took place!
ASK OUT is  intended to be in the style of Ska (hence the crossword style title), although some have expressed some doubts, but I rather enjoyed doing the beat. Watch out for the ending.
The last two tracks are old favourites recorded in 2018 and 2016 respectively and recently re-mastered. NOTHING’S BLACK OR WHITE is an a capella piece and HEISENBERG UNCERTAINTY BLUES was the first song I ever recorded. The lyrics for the latter are a scam in that they describe the (incorrect) myth of Heisenberg’s principle applied to experimental measurement. That is all tosh because the actual meaning of the principle is entirely different. Having a physics degree I allowed myself some artistic licence but I’m happy to correct any wrong impression.

HEAR FOR YOU is a set of 10 songs which I composed and recorded in late 2024 and 2025. 
Some of the songs use lyrics that were written a long time in the past. Most of them are around 3 to 4 minutes in duration. I play all the instruments - bass and electric guitars, keyboards and drums - plus all the vocal parts.

Cooling Down

I am a musician who composes and performs all of my music using multi-tracking software. The instruments I play are electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, bass recorder, tenor recorder and keyboards. I also sing. 
The music is a mixture of many styles across multiple genres, including rock, jazz, blues and classical.... sometimes all in the same piece.
