Based on Jeff Wayne’s critically acclaimed 1978 concept album The War Of The Worlds a group of our incredibly talented and creative students will be taking to the stage to re-write, re-work and re-invent the album in it’s entirety. In the years since the album’s original release countless producers and audio gurus have attempted to remix tracks from this classic release with rather varying degrees of success. Now our first year students will be showing them how it’s done!

Our students took the original music, the scores and the elements of the story to create wholly new pieces of music for you to enjoy that reference and remix the original recording. Ranging from hip hop to house music, drum & bass to dubstep, and ambient to breakbeat, you’ll hear the music you know so well as you’ve never heard it before completely reimagined by young creative minds.
