Warũgũrũ Mũchĩra is an African musician, writer and poet born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Her aim is to have fun with music, entertain a few souls and maybe get them thinking about life and stuff, and joyful, in spite of life and stuff. 

Her first release, African Hero, celebrates her compatriot Eliud Kipchoge, the first athlete to break the two hour barrier in the marathon road race, and an inspiration to millions across the world. Warũgũrũ sees all art as a celebration of life, the good, the bad and everything in between.

She's currently working on an album that draws from hers and the common human experience, the kind of stories everyone can relate to no matter where they are from.
