We are happy to finally welcome good friend and hard techno connoisseur Josh Reid to the podcast series. Having grown up in the Dublin area, he decided to make the move to Berlin where he found himself in a much less limiting electronic music environment. Since then he has been carving his name into scene here playing regularly both in Berlin and beyond.

Our boy delivers just over an hour and a half of hard groove, hard techno and everything in between. Powerful stuff from the Irishman.

Ôneyra is a rising Irish Dj & Producer.
Currently Berlin-based she is quickly building a
reputation for herself as she cuts through the
underground scene with high energy and
emotion which is finely attuned for dancefloor
consumption. Her sets push to tell a story
through dark rhythm, texture, and driving
soundscapes.

Throughout the years, Ôneyra has put in the
grind from running her own club nights,
launching a label, building up her name as a
DJ and producer and shows no signs of
slowing down as she sinks her teeth into all
corners of the music industry.

As she continues to grow she has plans for
her own imprint ‘Triple Identity’ which aims to bring about positive change in club culture and
sonically take us on an intentional trip. The story continues...

NICHTCAST 004 - Ôneyra

Introducing to you "U-Topic Guests": a series of mixes from national and international artists, who's art we admired and want to share it to the world.

The fifteenth is for Elektrash, a trio of artists from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Violeta, Almendra and Pistolera seek to develop a style that highlights the mischief and versatility of Techno's most primitive force.

Throughout their career, Elektrash shared projects and went through several of the best underground parties in their country such as 999ciclo, Diffuse Reality and Techno Moon Festival along with national scene references such as: Sol Ortega, Jonas Kopp, E110101, Squaric , Zisko and Forello, among others.

In 2023 they signed their first release “K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)” on the @teqwaverecords V/A compilation, along with more than 10 leading female artists from the Argentine scene.

I am happy to share with you Part One of the live recording of my all night long set at Warf Chambers in Leeds for Rogue Puppet on 07/04/2023.

The first two hours of this set was all vinyl focussing on tribal, funky and hardgroove records.

PART ONE - Rogue Puppet: Balrog All Night Long [Recorded Live at Warf Chambers, Leeds - 07042023]

K. Luisa is an Artist from Germany, currently living in the Ruhr Area.

She is enthusiastic about all kinds of music since she was a kid but found herself later in loving techno music

Usually her mixes are fast with a constant pulse
Her one side is energetic - a thunder with glitchy sounds - an interplay of several tracks mixed together with intelligent layering
Her other side is a variation of deep, dreamy and hypnotic tracks

In this showcase she wants to express her calm and dreamy side.

"People and music are like a mosaic that fits together perfectly and creates a fascinating picture. If we look at the different elements that make up the mosaic, we can see how they interact and work together in harmony.

Just like a mosaic, the world is made up of many different colors, shapes, and textures. People are also like these different elements together form a big whole together are defined by other people we meet, books we read, conversations we have. Each person has their own personality, story and experiences that make them unique.
Music is as multifaceted and diverse as humanity itself. Every genre of music, every instrument and every sound has its own history and meaning. Bringing these different elements together creates a unique soundscape that draws us in. When we bring people and music together, something magical happens. Like a mosaic, the different elements complement each other perfectly to create a beautiful overall composition. People bring their own creativity, emotions and understanding of music, while music connects us all and takes us into a common world".
