DJ/Producer DJ Soyboi is based betweem Manchester and Bristol. They draws as much inspiration from chicago and berlin as they do from the UK. Soyboi plays a head-spinning blend of Jungle, footwork and experimental 160.

"Im into jungle, drum and bass, footwork, detroit club and experimental 160. I'm very inspired by hard techno and electro, despite them not being genres I play, I love fast music with heavy sounds. Before getting into jungle/160 I was very involved in my local punk scene, which I feel comes across in the music i make and play!"

40 Artists from all the cross the globe, nu- comeres and og's from the first release, stand together united in all things bass & breaks with BPM ranging from 100 to 170.

Expect even more flavors, with the most wanted dubplates who ended up in mixes by established artists such as LCY, A.Fruit, Sun People, Gremlinz and many others who played them from Boiler room to Rinse Fm. Artwork is once again done by talented Sofija Milosevic.

WORKS Records is a Bristol based label for footwork, juke, jungle, hardcore and everything in between, founded by Goldman, DJ Jonco & DJ Lazergun in 2019. The aim of the label is to exhibit the varying global sounds of these styles of music, whilst retaining the futurist vision set out by the originators of these genres. 

The label is an extension of the internet forum fka Half-time //Slow/fast and Bristol based club night WORKS, exhibiting the best in all things around 160bpm, and has seen recent coverage from Rinse FM and DJMag. Since its inception it has seen releases from footwork legend Traxman, Italian modular powerhouse Sickarone, and recently breakbeat bootleg king Polo Lilli. 

The latest release is a single from Huddersfield based Slinki, who has been making waves in the 160bpm scene recently with tracks garnering support from Samurai Breaks, Morelia, Nova Cheq and more. The track is reminiscent of mid-nineties acid techno, complete with sharp lazer stabs and an evocative film sample, that is cut through by Slinki’s signature bouncy percussion. This one has already had clubbers mesmerised on the dancefloor.
