“Hide and Seek --- most of us choose hide.” The late American poet T.C. Armstrong penned these words for and about Washuntara, a man who does not hide from life. 

Washuntara is a Seeker; he is also a Performance Artist, Singer, Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and storyteller. His Label Passionworks Music has its home on Nashville’s famous Music Row.
Off stage he is a Workshop Facilitator and Buddhist Spiritual Teacher bringing together a successful and thriving musical career with over three decades of service and leadership to the community. With an unforgettable voice and powerful songs, this vital Australian’s music, mirth and message have garnered a grassroots following across the world. 

A global citizen at home in the US, Australia and Japan, he prides himself on being a steward to several great social programs, and runs workshops inspiring and challenging people to wake up and reclaim the happiness in their lives. As co-founder of the international not-for-profit organization, “Circle of Men,” he has led the fight against social isolation and loneliness in men for over twenty years. In response to the need for better communication between men and women, he created “He/She/We” relationship workshops that offer a rare opportunity to discover more deeply how the genders tick. Despite all the seriousness in life, as Washuntara says, “We don’t really grow up until we’ve had our first good belly laugh at ourselves!

The name “Washuntara” means Passion and Strength. It comes from the Buddhist tradition and is a testament to the grace and grit of a man whose life purpose is to “Co-create powerful and authentic lives that work.”
