Glass in the woods is a semi-granular Kontakt library built for German Film/TV composer Dirk Leopolz. Left to right, the sound progresses from a wooden granular attack, through mellow centre to a shattering glass top. Front to back the sound has a complex initial overtone structure with a firm sub-osc and mildly detuned pad that pokes out the back of it, all interacting in a cavernous space. 

Great for slow, cinematic playing. 1,2,3 or 4 parts (not much more, though it’s designed to cope with it). 

Comes with a free, playable granular percussion library of over 30, 5 x round-robin sounds.

Wasch-Maschine is the combined musical efforts of Owen Roberts and Sam Slater, two English musicians who met in a shared studio in Berlin and wanted a place to pool strengths in composition and production. 

Together, Sam and Owen tailor an imaginative & considered approach into all our projects. Be it work done together, or personal projects, this Soundcloud represents music we are proud to have worked on.

We have a broad range of project experience, including Commercial work for:
WORLD GOLD COUNCIL, FRIENDS OF THE EARTH, AUDI AND TRIGGER HAPPY PRODUCTIONS 

Collaborations with BRIAN ENO, MARK ALLAWAY, THE BBC SINGERS, RAZ OHARA, and THE ICELANDIC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. 

Our personal projects have seen performances at various international venues including 
BERGHAIN, KAMPNAGEL and SOPHIENSAELE (DE), SAGE GATESHEAD, BIRMINGHAM SYMPHONY HALL, GOLDSMITHS UNIVERSITY, OXFORD SHELDONIAN (UK)...

and releases on a number of labels including PARLAPHONE, THEBIGSHIP and RANDOM NOIZE MUSICK
