'Diving into a sonic exploration across the Purified spectrum, Purified Records presents its first edition of Purified Selections. Shining a light on up-and-coming talent, this 11-track compilation ebbs and flows across a diverse soundscape. Opening with a powerful, cinematic cut ‘Existence’ by NASTAVI and flowing into Chris Luno’s brooding ‘Another World’, the compilation is compelling from the get-go. Moving into a lofty dimension, Enigmatic ‘Fractal Dreams’ and Heard Right & Floa ‘Tokyo’ perfectly encapsulate the imprint’s essence. Moving in a slightly deeper direction, Initial Eyes ‘Like Pictures On A Screen’ and Namatijra’s ‘Katsu’ flaunt reverberating basslines juxtaposed with scintillating synths. Soaring into a mystical realm with Boy North ‘A.D.I.A.’, Callum Can’t Sleep ‘Wave Of Waters’, Enigmatic ‘Keralian Town’ and Boy North ‘Break Me’, listeners are transported into pure sonic bliss with soothing instrumental arrangements. Dropping the tempo, Callum Can’t Sleep’s ‘Andara’ draws Purified Selections to a close, allowing listeners to unwind and bask in the compilation’s aura. '

PREMIERE: Braxton - Wilderness (Original Mix) [Anjunadeep]

Blended by many years of club nights as a DJ and alternative late-night music listening at home, wasP (was Paul McCarthy / Mac) is an artistic expression which sets to capture an individualized style established by the deeper & more melancholic grooves of the electronic genre.

The first single “Laid Bare” was born out of desire to write a song which connected to a vulnerable state and is sung by his cousin, the inimitably talented Deaf Joe. Recorded during lockdown in a makeshift home studio, Deaf Joe’s atmospheric vocals provided extra significance to the lyrics whilst buttressing the gradual build of energy throughout the track.

wasP's beautiful debut single is accompanied by strong remixes courtesy of Deeparture and KAMADEV.

A yantra is a geometric symbol used as a point of focus in tantric meditation. It is like a visual manifestation of a mantra, and the song is derived from the song “Mantra” from Yin. I took the cyclical piano theme, slowed it down and rebuilt the track with a pulsating beat. Mantra was the jump off point, to turn this into a cinematic dance experience.


‘Yang’ is the latest solo endeavour from Reza Safinia, the Album draws on his deep interest in Eastern philosophy and his own spiritual practices to inspire a sound that marries the ethereal with a call to the dancefloor. This new album was written as the first global lockdowns were lifted. It follows on from Yin, which was composed at the start of the pandemic. Both albums reflect the energies of those different situations, and both were recorded at 432Hz - a tuning standard that is said to resonate with living beings and our chakras. The albums and their titles are inspired by the Chinese cosmology principle that everything consists of a balance of Yin and Yang. 
Yin is the pianos and strings, and Yang the electronic production elements. They have been conceived from meditation and a mindful presence in one's environment, with deep connections to humanity. Musically, the albums combine everything from electronica to downtempo, melodic house to techno. Importantly, Yang carries a sense of hope for human connection and lust for celebrating life.

First featured on the label’s flagship Anjunadeep 12 compilation, ‘One Good Reason’ marks the return of German producer and wunderkind Rezident, and his second collaboration with vocalist Biishop.

His previous releases on the label, ‘Pure’ and the ‘Chapters EP’ saw significant support from Sirius XM Chill, and producers including Ben Böhmer, Dosem and Cassian. ‘One Good Reason’ sees Rezident on top form, layering Biishop’s vocals with bouncing synths; and resulting in a brilliantly textured composition.

Rezident & Biishop - One Good Reason

We’re “Over the Moon” to welcome Gadi Mitrani to Do Not Sit with his melodic two-track EP. A fixture in his hometown of Turkey and with releases on the likes of Kompakt KX, Tale & Tone, Seven Villas and his own imprint Love And Above, Gadi has built a name for himself on the world stage, and it’s easy to see why with his new one for us.

The title track’s organic mood weaves in and out of dreamy synths and deep rhythm, while “Rise To The Moon” invokes beautiful undertones of culture and fancy.

UK duo Death on the Balcony's universal rhythms are no stranger to Behrouz's imprint, but this is the first time they've collaborated with German duo Flowers on Monday. Having crossed paths on labels such as Akbal and All Day I Dream, their sounds, styles and even aesthetic share similar inspirations and directions. It was only a matter of time before each kindred spirit entwines.
Four tracks deep, 'Ways & Means' brings out the best of everyone involved. Tailor made for Don't Sit On The Furniture's cosmic soul signature to the very last stitch, each cut ebbs and flows unhurriedly, hypnotically. From the gentle synth breezes and steel drum ripples of opener 'Crystal' to the final vocal echoes and last soldiering kick of 'Illusory', there's a hazy playfulness running throughout. Like everything both acts and the label have ever put out, there's a delicate balance of tones and textures that transcend any dancefloors many of us are still so far from seeing again. A perfect tonic for these turbulent times; let's hope more collaborations like this happen again in the future.
