On February 22, 2019, VP Records and Greensleeves Records hosted a party at Brixton's Ritzy Cinema and Cafe as part of a year-long celebration of VP's 40th anniversary. Bobo El Numero Uno hosted the event, which featured DJs Mixmaster J, Mr. Mighty, and Carter Van Pelt. The event also saw the unveiling of "A Reggae Music Journey," a display highlighting the label's 40 years in New York. JaRIA (The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association) and Paul Wayne Gregory Chocolates sponsored the event.
