I composed this song in my sweet hometown, Kumamoto.
It's influenced by Venezuelan music.
Keita Ogawa on percussion did an incredible job on this track.

Someone Like You

This is a live recording of me singing the prelude from J.S. Bach's famous Cello Suite #1.  This piece has been adapted by instrumentalists of all stripes, but I don't know anyone other than Bobby McFerrin who sings this kind of thing.  

For you music geeks out there, I should state that this was recorded in one take with no overdubs or pitch correction.  I don't have a problem with pitch correction in general, but for this recording I wanted to stay true to the classical ideals that inspired its composition.
