Waste Edition is back with a new compilation called 429 and once more, 4 new and colorful tracks were carefully chosen by the Andalusian label. The E.P is intentionally made up of four creative and admired artists. Besides and as is becoming the custom, these four diverse tracks are full of catchy melodies, touching arpeggios and powerful beats. Conscientiously, there is harmony between the four artists, Vortice Mortale, Imiafan, Asymetric80 and Undo & Casiowaves and without a doubt this compilation can show anyone no interest in trends and bet on music that the label loves and respects.

On commence non pas un guest mais UNE guest avec Katrin alias @LaauPama, membre de l'entourage des killers de @Counterterraism dont a pu remarquer son incroyable mix pour December 2021.
Laau Pama vit à Kirchheim unter Teck en Allemagne et affectionne tout comme nous une dark disco à la fois froide et chaleureuse à souhait (!), mais le mieux est encore de poser une oreille sur son set pour le foutoir.

Lusca, aka Estuardo Flores, born and raised in guadalajara, mexico. Dj and producer, djing since 2011, producing since 2015 as Los fugazzi who i share project with mufti. Released music on labels such as nein, golden soul, innisfallen records, payapl and an upcoming single on ombra. Ive made collaborations with montessori, tronik youth, stockholm syndrome. Musical background, piano, bass, clarinet, as a child and teenager, but i hate to mention this hahaha, sounds a bit poser if you know what i mean. Like the classic bio "he started playing all instruments at once since he was on his mother's womb"

Le Coutelier - Pollylove 136 - 14/10/2022

Home of respected artists, such as Johannes Klingebiel (SXDNS207), Donald Dust, and Vanity Project, the interesting London-based imprint Claptrap opens its doors now for the debut release of DJ Goodboy, a young and promising German selector, producer and multi-instrumentalist who showcases his production capabilities via three well-constructed originals on his “KOKO NI KITE” EP. On the remix duty, a spot-on interpretation made with love by aforementioned Vanity Project, the label boss himself, by the way.

With previous appearances on Zone Focus, Paradiso, Eclectics, and of course Claptrap, VP brought the original to his turf, opened his toolbox of references, and came up with a more House-ish take for GB’s wobbly “Texas Queen”. Acid lines, vocal hooks, percussive elements, and trippy FXs were craftily assembled to bring to life a lively and vibrant version of an already solid cut.

After such a nice first release, we’ll be looking forward to checking the future endeavours of mischievous and misbehaved DJ Goodboy.

Betty is a night owl. She started to work in the night life at the end of the 80's until 2005 in the trendiest clubs and bars of Lyon, where she lives, such as La Centrale, as a barmaid or party organizer, then at l'Exit, a famous techno bar she managed, but also for the mythical parties I love Boys, Enjoy and Wake Up.
In 1995, she moved behind the decks and mixed on vinyl.
Even after leaving the night life, she returned to mixing utilizing the new technological tools. She delivers club-oriented dance mixes tinged with indie dance and dark disco, while adding some new wave. Her inspiration comes from bands such as Depeche Mode and The Cure, which she particularly likes.
Finally, she’s the half of Nouveau Futur, duo co-founded with her friend Neurotiker. Their first track called « Amour éphémère » will be released December 7, 2022 on Mélopée Records’s compilation Retro Futur.
