Porceleno sent me this wonderful music with the title "Verdella". Having no idea about the word at all, I looked it up and came across these meanings of the name: "fighter, brave, warrior, summer, harvester". And I thought: Once in a while everyone needs to channel their inner Verdella, especially in rough times. I hope you enjoy listening!

Porceleno & She´s Excited! - Verdella

Very, very intense rolling rhythm patterns (88 BPM). Characteristic synth's. The guitar sounds are inspired by Martin Gore from DM and Steve Jones of the Pistols. Contains a slide guitar in the mid-eight part and a bedroom amp guitar in the intro/chorus. Distorted 16th note bass all the way.

The meaning of the song (?) STARSTRUCK is STARSTRUCK and "Imponerad" means impressed. Easy to understand if you can speak Swedish... :)

This is the song for the summer - and we are late. This summer is almost over :-)
I struggled with this melody, wondering what to use it for.
So, it's summer and it's time for romance, and here we go!
I'm so thankful that my dear friend Moni agreed to sing this tune. It was a blast to record the vocals with her.

I used a telecaster on all guitar tracks.

I hope I did not ruin it with my limited mixing skills.
