Excited to share with you my very first set of 2024, recorded live at Ratherlost party at LoFi, Amsterdam on January 1st, 2024. 
It was truly one of the best NY shows I've ever been a part of. The club was completely packed and on fire as I took over the decks following Quelza & Nørbak’s incredible B2B set. My aim was to keep this massive momentum going while leading the floor on a journey to get lost in the music. Hope you can feel this mood and energy from the recording. 

Special thanks to everyone who attended, and to Ratherlost for curating such phenomenal parties and granting me the opportunity to share this mix.

The closing set at the Varden stage is always a special time; Filled with excitement, tears, hugs, and exhaustion, it marks the end of four incredible days at Monument Festival.

This year Japanese maestro Wata Igarashi stepped up and delivered a legendary closing set. A psychedelic vortex of sound thundered across the forest as the dance floor was illuminated in radiant colors and fog, with smiling faces and dancing bodies all around. 

So find your best headphones or sit down in front of your speakers, turn it up, and time travel back to the Forgotten Valley. Guided by our friend, Wata Igarashi. Enjoy.

Through a flurry of top-of-the-range releases for the likes of Dekmantel, Kompakt, Figure and his own imprint, WIP, the Japanese producer has been cementing his position as a true innovator of techno music. His unparalleled knack for crafting big-room-ready tunes that engineer a complex cocktail of cutting-edge elegance, modular intuitivity and hi-impact punch has logically made him a much sought-after talent in the scene. Not departing from that polymathic approach, his RYC mix, recorded at the PURE G event at FINAL Taipei on December 7, treats us to a storm of shape-shifting grooves and brutalist fractals of sound. Exponent of a sound both intrinsically rugged yet layered to mind-altering effect, the British producer has been dishing out unstoppable slices of hi-velocity techno laced with a signature stripped-back, psychedelic edge. This new RYC podcast doesn’t veer off from such a direction and we’re graced with a two-hour mind trip boasting both bass-driven warehouse impact and an elegantly-woven tapestry of abrasive grooves, leaning by turn towards atmospheric elation and on other occasions pushing in the direction of utter fibrous, steel-coated industrial pound. The result is a wilder than wild ride down a smouldering pit of acid-washed hard hitters. Brutal.
