Eric Rosa is a professor at UQAT, at Amos Campus, in the Abitibi.

He has been working now for about 5 years, on a groundwater project with Cree Nation of Eastmain.

We were able to ask him about this project yesterday at Mistissini, when he presented it to the Secretariat Cree Nation Abitibi Economic Alliance Conference.

There was a very special commemoration and tribute to the late Charlie Washipabano at the Bell Centre, before the game between the Calgary Flames and the Montreal Canadians yesterday night.

On the big screen, the picture of the late Charlie Wash was put up and a little dedication was made to him, thanks to Daniel Mark Stewart, who had the vision to do it for him.

He made some phone calls and people helped him to get this done for him.

Deseriee is a young nurse, who is currently working at the Chisasibi Hospital. She spent 6 years in post secondary, Learning about nursing.
Working with Cree patients, she says that "being able to speak Cree and to deliver my care in Cree is very valuable to me, and also is reassuring cause the patients are able to express more in the Cree language.".
