Did you know that if you're parked on the street for longer than three hours, you are breaking the law? Even on a residential street, if you're parked too long, you could get a ticket. I know this because I've gotten a ticket for it. I think it's silly, because the police couldn't possibly be keeping track of the hundreds of cars parked on the street at any given moment. So I figure the only reason I got a ticket was because someone called the police. Someone who maybe doesn't have a whole lot going on in their life. This is a song about that person.

I'm Not Happy (demo)

The flight from Toronto to Tokyo is about 13 and a half hours. I know this because I've done the flight twice. That's a long time to be on a plane! Whenever I have a long flight, the same thing always happens to me: I spend more time planning what I'm going to do on the flight than what I'm going to do on the trip.

The second Song from 111 is actually one of the very first tunes I ever played with a band many years back, the haunting and evocative "The Wild Hunt" by the Tallest Man on Earth. Enjoy!

The third Song from 111 is Townes Van Zandt's iconic "Pancho and Lefty", the tragic tale of the death of a bandit and the guilt of the man who sold him out.

The fourth song in this cover series comes from a band I was pointed towards recently, the immensely talented West My Friend. I immediately thought "Build a Bed" was such a beautiful and sweet song, and for very happy reasons it has really resonated with me as of late and taken on a lot of personal meaning.
