All the kidnappers asked for was $17 million dollars from his grandfather, John Paul Getty, at the time, the richest man in the entire world.  But Getty refused, stating that wouldn't pay the kidnappers a cent.

This movie, Vanilla Sky is the English-speaking remake of the Spanish film, Open Your Eyes.  It's about a young, wealthy man who gets into a terrible accident, and everything seems to magically work out... or does it?

Guys, this is our very last episode.  It has been a great time reviewing movies with each other and having you all as audience members.  We are truly grateful for all those listeners out there who have supported this massive endeavor.
