Thomas Gandey returns to Watergate with Glusko for the ‘Conversations’ EP, a release that bridges classic songwriting sensibilities, modern electronic production, and driving hooks with finesse, exploring the theme of analogue communication in the digital age.

The title track ‘Conversations’ unfolds around Gandey’s unmistakable vocal, aligned with Glusko’s sleek, melodic production, fusing emotional depth with club-focused precision. ‘Don’t Speak’ takes a more introspective route: a hypnotic, disco-laced electronic workout that artfully balances tension and groove, showcasing both producers’ refined craftsmanship in the studio.

Rafael Cerato and Glowal return to Watergate Records with their new 'Find Who Dance' EP, a four-track collection that channels emotional intensity, melodic precision, and peak-time club energy in equal measure.

For both artists, the release marks a homecoming. Rafael Cerato last appeared on Watergate with his Vocalizer EP and has since been riding a wave of strong releases on Innellea’s belonging and Gorgon City’s Realm label among others, refining his cinematic blend of tension, groove, and melody. Glowal, meanwhile, return following their 'Level of Love' EP on Watergate and a recent release on Experts Only, reaffirming their reputation as one of the most innovative acts in melodic techno.

The 'Find Who Dance' EP showcases their sleek, futuristic sound design and trademark vocoder-driven robotic vocals, perfectly complementing Cerato’s emotive and high-impact production style.

All four tracks are high-energy dancefloor weapons, driven by bold synth work and dynamic rhythm. The title track ‘Find Who Dance’ stands out as an immediate highlight, an emotive, hypnotic anthem built for peak hours, while ‘Walk’ pushes deeper into darker, more intense territory. ‘In Your Eyes’ introduces a moment of warmth and reflection, and ‘Power’ closes the EP on a euphoric note, radiating optimism and motion.

Watergate Records reopens the gates with ‘Watergate IDs 001’, the first VA compilation since the club’s closure nearly a year ago. A 12-track statement release that brings together modern house variants, melodic club moments, and a final stretch coloured by subtle Italo flavours.

The journey begins with Deckert’s ‘Pocari Sweat’, a crisp house track edged with ghetto-tech attitude, immediately setting an energetic tone. Miu Lena follows with her debut ‘Let Me Disport’, a driving, forward-pushing club cut that introduces her to the Watergate universe with confidence. Pole Position’s ‘In Your Mind’ with Steven Jones then deliver a full-bodied vocal house tune that lands with instant impact.

Mick Jerome and Dr Dubski shift the mood toward classic deep-house territory with ‘Fired Up’, warm, rolling, and carried by a cool, understated vocal. Aiwaska’s ‘Burnin’ keeps the groove tight and hypnotic, powered by chopped vocal snippets and his trademark swing. From there, Brazilian afro-house leader Curol arrives with John Gemiini, Nassá, and Ruddek on ‘Vibora’, injecting the compilation with bold percussion, rhythmic heat, and unmistakable South American personality.

Pinot Negro makes his debut with ‘U8’, an arpeggio-driven ride that leans into sleek, late-night emotion, before Argentinean talent Pairetti adds a catchy, slightly retro shine with ‘Darkness’, complete with hooky vocals and a neon sheen. Ae:ther and Momery then deliver another striking cut, ‘Faraway’, a big, cinematic, melodic track that amplifies the emotional core of the compilation.

The closing run moves into clubby territory with an Italo-tinged twist: Kiko & Olivier Giacomotto, both longtime Watergate contributors, set the tone with the stylish and high-impact ‘Seduction’, blending modern club power with glossy Italo flavour. Asal & Morab’s ‘Break It’ follows, adding darker drive with shimmering melodic accents, and Polygraph’s ‘Reverie’ closes the compilation, floating in on warm synth lines with a nostalgic glow.

With ‘Watergate IDs 001’, Watergate Records sets the tone for its next chapter: fresh voices, trusted names, and a renewed focus on groove, melody, and dancefloor identity.

Gorje Hewek is to debut an EP on Watergate Records, brings a handful of talented collaborative partners in toe. 

The skilled DJ/producer first dropped heat on the label way back in 2016 when his track 'Turgoyakk' made with fellow Russian producer Izhevski featured on Matthias Meyer’s Watergate 20 mix. Since then, he’s gone on to become an entrenched member of the All Day I Dream collective, while building up his own label Shanti Radio Moscow. 

His generous maiden EP offering 'Life' is as expressive as you’d expect. Fellow Dreamer Lost Desert is a collaborative partner on all but one of the EP tracks and brings his sublime touch to the work. 'Fluminnese (Dub)' features rising Moscow duo Volen Sentir and is a sundrenched slice of house that twinkles with loads of warmth and positivity also features. 'No Line Can Be Found' was crafted with Nikolai Briar and is an uplifting union of swirling arpeggios, emotional strings and a heartfelt vocal that combines for a powerful finish. 'Ocean' sees the appearance of his vocal alter ego Marvin the Sun, and is a lilting soulful cut that begs to be played at sundown. 'Night Walk' is a beautiful yet functional cut, comprised of a tech backbone and lush chord sequence. 'Covered in White' is a transcendental slice of house driven by a terrific groove and melody line. A lively vocal-led 12” version of lead track 'Fluminnese' rounds out the pack.

We are overjoyed to announce the next candidate for our label-catalogue after Kerri Chandlers "The Watergate Files" EP. New Watergate resident Matthias Meyer was recently added to our booking agency - his debut on Watergate Records is called "Becuz" and hereby it immediately answers every potential question.

The eponymous Track has the atmospheric density of an approaching storm front that discharges into epic organ- hooks and shredded vocals. Appropriate to that the B-side begins with "November Rain", a beat-driven techno- anthem with foggy synth-spheres and "closed eyes"-attitude. Mario Basanovs a.k.a. Ten Walls' interpretation has more contours and a percussive touch that keeps the mood of the original unchanged: November rain in a tropical rainforest. An astonishing EP with two great tracks and a wonderful remix. "Becuz" EP will be released on May 12th on vinyl and digital.

Stephan Jolk returns to Watergate, following his sublime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ EP.
 
The Italian artist is a master at soundtracking transcendental dancefloor experiences, with a beautiful body of work to his name, highlighted by a string of releases on Watergate Records, Rukus, Afterlife, Rose Avenue, Upperground, and most lately Embassy One with his collaboration with Monolink. His latest opus is prime for glistening sunset sessions and early morning raves alike, as a delicate bed of drums, emotion-charged strings and the soaring vocals of braev light up the night’s sky. A song for the listener that highlights Braev’s eternal voice, and a clear step of maturity for a producer that has come so far in such a short period of time.

8Kays delivers an inspiring label debut on Watergate Records, as the artistic project of Ukrainian sound-producer and live act Iryna Shvydka reinforces why there’s so much excitement surrounding her with the slick ‘Falling Down’ EP.
 
A collaborative rich EP, 8Kays links with Italian pair Glowal for the punchy ‘Matemática’, that brings plenty of eerie minor key vibes to the dancefloor thanks to the vocal contribution from Brasilian singer Abrão. ‘Falling Down’ sees 8Kays team up with the Buenos Aires-based producer and live act Juan Hansen for a captivating slice of electronic prog lit up by Hansen’s memorable vox and delicate strings. One for those special end-of-night moments. 
 
Dutch pair Colyn & Beswerda suit up ‘Falling Down’ for a different occasion, adding a tougher backbone, while teasing out all the melodic flourishes to craft a remix that’s functional and stunning in equal doses. Man-of-the moment Chris Avantgarde then ramps up the intensity to eleven adding his own re-rub that’s everything we’ve come to love about the producer: bold, powerful and memorable. 
 
The EP ends with a terrific 8Kays solo cut, the luminescent ‘Lyra’, a dreamy arpeggio-driven gem that closes out the work beautifully.

Fur Coat makes an impressive return to Watergate Records, this time joining forces with Olivier Giacomotto, who made his debut on the label just last year.

Meca returns to Watergate Records with a fresh take on his standout two-track "Corre" EP, released earlier this year, now accompanied by two special remixes.

Gorje Hewek and Rony Seikaly return to Watergate Records with their second studio link-up, 'Text Me', following last year’s standout collaboration 'Get Up and Dance'. 

The duo once again find a seamless balance between Hewek’s melodic sophistication and Seikaly’s rhythmic power, delivering a record that’s both emotional and purpose-built for the dance floor. It was nearly a year ago when these two graced with their hugely successful track ‘Hope’ on our ‘Watergate XV’ various artist compilation. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis come together again to deliver the stunning ‘Love Letters From Sicily’ where infectious organic grooves pave the way for a flourishing well of emotions in the form of lush pads and shimmering sonics that unfold into a tale of epic cinematic proportions. From start to finish it’s a intimate piece of aural imagery, yet the duo always keep a keen percussive focus making it ideal for any dancefloor moment. 

To complement ‘Love Letters from Sicily’, we’ve enlisted the one and only John Digweed to rework Meyer and Davis’ original of ‘Hope’, and with no surprise, he’s given it the master’s touch. Staying true to the original, while at the same time reinventing the storyline and constructing tension by saving the powerful harmonies for a later climax, he’s crafted a revision that’s both driving and timeless.

With eyes and ears fixed on the future, there’s always room for inspiring new talent at WG HQ. Jos & Eli bubbled to attention thanks to interesting releases on Diynamic, Sudbeat and Noir Music, their productions at once striking and beautiful, imbued with a unique energy that’s essential for any signing to Watergate Records
 
Both artists are musicians since childhood and their natural talent shines brightly on ‘Mozar’ EP. The title track is driven by a woozy riff which sits atop a chugging bed of drums and seems to capture the stirring energy of their homeland.  ‘Atomica’ is similarly unique, with its persistent synth layers, delicate drums and stirring pads, andconjures an otherworldly atmosphere. Respected vocalist Jinadu joins them for ‘One’, a unifying anthem in the making. Yotto contributes a classy re-work of ‘Atomica’, keeping the impactful riff, but adding in harmonising elements and plumping out the bass for an amplified peak-time hit.
