My first musical memories are vague, impressionistic ones that come from the music my dad used to play when I was young. Especially Sunday mornings were reserved for listening to records, and I remember them as these timeless, happy and colorful moments. As I grew older, my father always would support my musical dreams.

Along with age, these memories remain but the context for them has changed, because life has become more complicated. For this record I spent time at my father’s house sampling his vinyl record collection, to create an impression of the feeling these Sunday mornings gave me, but through the lens of being an adult growing up in this strange beautiful world.
