Watts the SP are Pete York and Steve Joseph. They make a lot of noise for a two-piece.  It's that loops pedal they use .... the tracks are on 3 channels and on 8 second loops so takes a considerable amount of foot dexterity. 

Number 1 written all over it and you should hear the middle 8!


Everybody Wants to Know (Demo)

Signed by Fatboy Slim in ‘Johnny Quality”,  Pete (lead vocals/guitars/loops) and Steve (drummer/vocals) joined the megastar DJ on his US and UK Palookaville tour clocking up numerous TV appearances including US host Conan O’Brien’s show; Jonathan Ross, MTV and Popworld.  After disbanding, Norm calls upon Pete to collaborate on his BPA album alongside Iggy Pop, David Byrne, Dizzy Rascal and Martha Wainwright.  Pete and Steve carry on as a two-piece producing incredibly infectious beats and HUGE hooks leading to performances at Meadowlands and Shakedown festivals and numerous gigs, prompting these quotes:

"This band stand head and shoulders above anything live on the circuit and will be superstars before too long”.  Lucy Wilkes (Annie Nightingale’s daughter and brother of Alex- Chemical Brothers tour manager) 

WATTS THE SP will be embarking on a tour in the North of England in June and will be playing London, Worthing, Hastings and Brighton over the summer 2014.
