For this month‘s wav:es series we present you Choreophila,

CHOREOPHILA is the new alias of Alan a.k.a. ultracore161. While still loving the harder spheres of electronic music he also enjoys the more uplifting, melodic and groovy tunes, hence the new alias. 
The name CHOREOPHILA literally means „into dancing“, so expect driving grooves, cheerful melodies and trance that makes you move your body.

SI.KURD has not only played his way into the hearts of countless ravers in his hometown of Braunschweig, but has also proven to be an important member of the local scene. As a resident at the Geheimclub Magdeburg, he regularly leaves sweating crowds of dancers in his wake. Meanwhile, he has written 13 years on his resume. Back then his focus was on playing vinyl, today he mostly plays digital - only on special occasions he still digs through the record shelf. The one or the other self-produced track also finds its way to the light of day, but even in "this time" his own standards remain high.

With the experiences from the past he tries out new events again and again, like the current event series BLURRED at the Laut Klub.
He describes his sound as raw, analog, rough, groovy, bouncing - techno!
