This is my DJ mix that I played during my sold out performance at Colectivo Back Room here in Milwaukee Wisconsin and I decided to record it as my first recorded DJ mix. I hope you enjoy.

DJMegadon Back Room Mix

This is a mix that I made that features a good amount of my favorite classic Hip Hop tracks full of revolutionary fervor, along with spoken word excerpts from some of my favorite revolutionary heroes from the Black Panther Party such as Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, Fred Hampton, and Angela Davis. The goal of this mix is to create class consciousness to the fact that we must fight for liberation of all people by destroying capitalism and implementing socialism here in the U.S. and all over the world through revolution. Art such as music and Hip Hop music in particular can be used as a weapon and a tool to create justice and to be a cultural force to advance the revolution, and empower the people to rise up and fight for liberation. I also want to show the significant greatness and influence of the Black Panthers through music, and how these classic revolutionary Hip Hop tracks and revolutionary speeches speaks to exactly what's going on today still. So enjoy this mix and I hope it inspires you all to get conscious and fight against all capitalist oppression.
