New song time! I made this one in a time signature I don't normally use, and I had lots of fun messing with the melody. The next song will be a much shorter, so I might upload it together with another one.

This one was fun to make! I wanted to play with the layers in this song while keeping the fun of arps and chords. At this point, I had already figured out what the theme of the album was, so all the songs after this were made with that concept in mind. I hope this one's fun for you too.

I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Life gets in the way sometimes and that's perfectly normal. This one's just a fun track I made in the middle of the project. There will be five more tracks to this collection, so watch out for those!

Scaly Shenanigans

Oftentimes, our worst enemy is ourselves. At least that's how it usually goes for highly passionate heroes. Maybe even too passionate. Surely that's the best way to create a character flaw... right?

This track was incredibly fun to make, and I'm quite proud of this one! The album will only come to a close after several more intense tracks building up to a resolution... maybe. 

While the WAVBIT brand started out as a space for music-making and skill-discovery, the person behind this brand no longer wants to be defined by what they have built here as seen by the countless times they have come and gone here. Since then, they have grown and changed as a person. And since the beginning of this resurrection, they realized that the best step forward is to repurpose this brand into a way for them to share the music they have made (and probably will continue to make) during the process of moving forward and leaving things behind. This platform is now used to hopefully and potentially inspire others, such as you, to learn and realize their identity and their worth in this world. They want to encourage others to improve themselves and change themselves as the musician here has. To the original creator of this project, WAVBIT now stands for death and rebirth. Much like us, time will certainly come where WAVBIT would be no more. We change and leave things behind, and the musician behind this wants to make sure what they leave behind stands for something good. So, do not be afraid to face yourself and to destroy the worst parts of yourself. There will always be good to be done, and there is always something you can change. You guessed it. I had fun making this one as well! I tried making something a little unique to add some suspense and build up to the finale.

Stress and tension. These are only two of a countless number of emotions and experiences that often break us. In an age full of uncertainty and danger, I don't think we can avoid feeling afraid, anxious, concerned, and worried. And I've learned that it is okay to feel these things, given that it does not impede our functioning as people. What is important is how we cope and deal with these emotions. How we accept and process these experiences determine whether we make good and healthy decisions. I think it's only right to accept our reality and our lack of control over it and not surrendering nor succumbing to it. When we realize that it is okay to have imperfections - and that it is essential to understand that these feelings of insecurity and anxiety only open our perception to what we can improve - we can change our perspectives and make decisions to learn and to change. That is what we can control. Stress, anxiety, and tension are your friends if you learn to apprehend them as such. If not, there will be chances to reach out for help when you're ready. In the meantime, I hope my music allows you, the listener, to relate with and to ponder on matters like this. And I guess we will soon see how our protagonist deals with their struggles as well.

The villain's a person too... right?

Experimenting with my usual modes was a delight! While this one's short, I think this one will be a treat for you all!

How do you see yourself? Are you surrounding yourself with good people, or are you with people that make you forget your values? Do you forgive yourself, or do you place the blame on anything but yourself? Do you even know what's good and what's bad? I think having internal struggles like this regarding our intentions, our actions, and our perspectives is a common experience. Personally, giving unsolicited advice over the internet would not be helpful. This is a delicate topic that requires consideration and personalized discussion. Regardless, I would like to instill some hope. You still have worth even after making mistakes, and that worth will only grow once you recognize it and make a change. You will be better, happier, and healthier for it if you do it right. And if you're in the process of figuring things out... All I can say is I wish you the best. I believe in you and the process. I admire your efforts to improve yourself for your own well-being and the well-being of others. You are worthy of growth, development, and improvement. May this song remind you of the precarious process and motivate you to remain calm and composed as you work through things in life. Don't be your own villain. While it may be difficult, difficulty does not mean impossibility. Trust yourself and the good people around you, and you will learn and get through your struggles. Good luck on your adventures.

A Convoluted Waltz

"This isn't even my final form," said every final boss ever.

This one has seven beats! Pretty fun tune and my favorite in the latter half of the album. Only one more song left!

Composure during a crisis. It's often one of the things I struggle with. One thing I've been learning recently is to understand my limits. Emotionally. I'm not a person who usually confronts and faces their emotions head on, so accepting the amount of stress, frustration, anxiety, exhaustion, anger and so much more... was quite tough. It was difficult to figure out how to express my grievances in a healthy manner, and I admit that I did not handle things perfectly. I was harsh to myself, unfortunately. But after moving beyond it and releasing and sharing those emotions, I allowed myself to see my situation and my mental state in a clearer way. It's okay to break down. It's okay to admit that you're not perfect and limitless. It's okay to take a break. So if you somehow feel similarly with me, I hope expressing this helps you feel less lonely and alone in a fast-paced and busy world with high expectations and standards.

I'll keep this short. I hope you enjoy the end of 2023 and celebrate all the wins you've had, all the meaningful moments you've made, and all the good things you've done for yourself. Let's look forward to the next year as we move forward with all our losses, mistakes, and mishaps. Let's enjoy this holiday season as we make more progress in our lives. It has been almost six years since I made this track, and I want to celebrate this particular one because of its significance in my music career here. Luckily, I still had the original Sandbox link to this piece and I manually ported as much as I can to Jummbox and did my best to stay faithful to the original sound while still updating some parts and refining some instruments. Please consider this as a New Year's gift and surprise! Hopefully some of you remember this one too.
