Decided i wanted to make a song called Bullfrog Living about a big. ass. bull. frog I met a few years ago at a beautiful pond at the end of a hike. This is not it. This is an improvisation I made with the idea back in april and I wanted to post it cuz it had sum nice stuff. The real Bullfrog Living is on it's way...

Ive found a pretty pond

Evocation of the heavy mind.
when i started making music electronically it was like entering a whole new world that i loved so much, i could add track after track after track after track and be as nit picky as i wanted and leave it alone for months, come back and it's still the same. it was love at first try. but love always has it's hardships... having to set things up, make sure they have batteries/power source, make clean connections, get it all going then pack it up proper once your done takes so much time away from the important part, making the music. i can also get wrapped up in the idea that i need to build the track into a full song, often stopping me mid way thru resulting in my hard drive filling up and up with half done songs. 

this was just something i made because i wanted to make music. it's simple, yes, but it's nice. both auditory (i hope) and for me to make. 
title in different words: a freeing of my brain filled with the pressures of making music.

[garage band used entirely for this one. i had a lot of trouble with it. wanting to like it but not rlly, it was originally faster and the lead line was, much more of an actual melody. i like it better with the changes. it feels adolescent doesnt it? thats fine.]

this was made late at night, around five i think which is funny because this is five minute of music. reluctance was just the title of the file when i saved it. the sound of this instrument sounds reluctant to me, like youre pulling at it. im sure there was also reluctance to go to sleep, seeing as it was 5am. which perhaps had something to do with it.

this was improvised. i planned on fixing parts i didnt like, but i found the way it unfolded worked and i didnt actually want to change things. so it is as it was.
