The Mist

waverley keys was formed in 2010 with violist Ella Baruch, cellist Steph Patten and pianist Max Wilson after a successful collaboration on a theatre project in Paris. Much of their music is written in the village of Innellan near the Scottish town of Dunoon, where the view from the cottage window is of the vast Clyde estuary with it's passing dolphins, submarines and the occasional appearance of the Waverely - the last seagoing paddle steamer in the world and the band's namesake. The landscapes from this beautiful part of the world have had an effect on the band's sound, with its hints of classical, soundtrack and popular music.
