Since then, I have received some requests to do an extended version. In the end it took many years before I decided to do it - that's because in addition to being busy with life and other projects, I have been also wanting to develop my abilities as musician / producer a little further before returning to this particular song.

This is my cover of "The Vagabond", a song from the Soundtrack of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Instrument used at 00:22, 01:06 and 02:01 is an Irish tin whistle, which I've taught myself to play a little.

I really enjoyed making a cover of the masterpiece that is the original song. It was also an opportunity to learn - I tried to really hear and understand the different elements of which the original song consists of, and to recreate them with my own twist. So I ended up with a very similar sounds and structure but I hope you can hear my personal touch as well.

This is what I'd call a metal-style cover of Opening Stage (X), a piece of soundtrack from Mega Man X: Corrupted. 

Electric guitars are played and recorded by me - I have composed and produced mostly electronic music over the years, but I have also played a bit of guitar on the side. However, I am still far from a serious guitar player, so this was a very challenging project (but also fun at the same time).

Mega Man X: Corrupted - Opening Stage X (Wavescale Remix)

My remix of the theme song of Pascal, a character from Nier:Automata (video game).

In the story of the game, the main character is an android who fights against hostile machine lifeforms. However, Pascal - while being a machine - wants nothing more than to live in peace in his village with his friends.

My interpretations are often quite different from the original songs, but this time it felt natural to go with a similar style, and I didn't want to change things up just for the sake of it.

I used my guitars (acoustic and electric) as well as synthesizers to make this song. The vocals are also "sung" by me using a vocoder.

When I made my first metal-style cover of Opening Stage (X) from Mega Man X: Corrupted soundtrack, it was supposed to be kind of a one-time thing, an experiment. However, after a very positive reception which I'm very grateful of, and a couple of suggestions to cover another song from the same soundtrack, I knew that I had to do it again. So I present to you: metal cover of Skyway / Hurricane Hoatzin!

I learned a lot from my first attempt and I personally feel I mixed this one a little better, even though it doesn't have as powerful bass as the last one... I still have lot to learn about playing, recording & mixing electric guitar but projects like this give me great motivation to keep practicing.
