"Binary Code" is a deeply mystical and ritualistic instrumental piece inspired by the ancient traditions of the Andes. The song is a masterful blend of traditional instruments, creating a hypnotic and immersive soundscape perfect for relaxation or meditation. It's a sonic journey that connects the listener to the rich history and serene calm of Andean nature, evoking the feeling of being in an ancestral temple.

The production is a masterclass in building a vast and immersive soundscape. It opens with the hypnotic, slow rhythm of a bombo legüero, which acts as a grounding pulse. A solo quena emits a soft, ancestral melody that feels both ancient and deeply personal. The zampoña and charango intertwine in arpeggios and chords, creating a trance-like feeling that encourages introspection. The uniform gentle dynamics, without any loud climaxes or volume increases, ensure the music remains in the background, supporting the listener's focus rather than distracting them. A clean production with natural reverberation gives the sensation of being in an open cave or temple, adding to the spiritual and sacred quality of the track.

The following is a beautifully abstract and healing selection, casting light on some lesser heard music from Japan. Enjoy.

Una actuación en un horario poco habitual, valiéndonos de la luz de la mañana para ofrecer una perspectiva natural de la música de Suso.

No es sencillo resumir la carrera de un músico tan relevante como Suso Sáiz para la historia de la música nacional. Uno de los exponentes más brillantes de la música de vanguardia, su carrera como compositor y productor abarca más de cuatro décadas, donde ha publicado más de 20 discos habiendo colaborado con artistas como Christian Fennesz, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Steve Roach o Suzanne Kraft. Son sólo algunos nombres de una lista interminable.

La guitarra, herramienta clave en su lenguaje expresivo, queda escondida tras numerosas capas de efectos. Todo ello queda patente en sus últimos trabajos en solitario, Rainworks (2017) y sobre todo en Nothing is Objective (2019), en ambos discos Suso abunda en un sonido minimalista, con un tratamiento sonoro exquisito y una expresión melódica profunda y compleja.

Su incansable actividad cubre un amplio espectro de la música y de otras disciplinas, donde la interrelación con las artes plásticas y la poesía ocupan un lugar destacado.
