Pop Hooks

Waving at Dinosaurs are a powerpop band from Bradford formed by Leeds College of Music alumni Luke Hirst & Tony Garthwaite in February 2014. Their debut single ‘Pop Hooks’ was well received, within 48 hours of its release it was played on BBC Introducing West Yorkshire & had over 350 hits on youtube.

Between them in previous outfits Luke & Tony have played gigs such as O2 Wireless Festival, Beatherder, Bingley Music Live & London’s City Showcase. Sharing stages with acts such as Newton Faulkner, The Thrills & Wild Beasts.

With an EP in the pipeline to follow up ‘Pop Hooks’ 2014 looks set to be a good year for Waving at Dinosaurs.
