In a recent interview Big Wave said “it’s no doubt that my music is influenced by my life experiences, my heritage, and my love for hip hop,Afrobeat and all genres. I am an independent artist who moved over from uyo to Lagos to do music because it’s like the Afro hub,my Dad was a teacher  ,mum was a teacher both sang In choir,I was a member of boys church group destiny voices before forming a boy group with my friend’s we use to perform in local reality shows in IK as a  teenager,I grew 
 with early exposure to hip hop infleunces like Notorious BIG,Bob marleys raggae,legendary Fela  Kuti’s Afro beat,Don moens worship songs,don williams and Kenny rogers country music,Jackson’s pop ,am a mixed blend of all genres,Throughout my journey as an independent artist, I have faced numerous obstacles, but my passion for music has always driven me to push forward and create art that resonates with others.

My sound is a fusion of hip hop and Afrobeat, reflecting the diverse influences that have shaped my musical identity. I strive to blend the rhythmic storytelling of hip hop with the infectious energy of Afrobeat, creating a unique and captivating sonic experience.
