DJ based in Wrocław, closely associated with Sekwencja and Aptness collectives. He made his debut in 2023 in Transformator (Wrocław). He oscillates around spatial techno in the hypnotic/deep range, and broken rhythms, mixing with a punchy 4x4 beat often bordering on the classic 909 sound. Responsible for the emerging Arytmia event series. He collaborates with the Łódź label Unknown Timeline by organizing the Liminal Spaces series, promoting the art of playing live from machines, and mixing from wax.

Yuddy Ash is a DJ and producer based in Kyoto, Japan. Before launching his DJ career three years ago, he had spent many years exploring a wide range of music projects, including bands inspired by UK indie and shoegaze, as well as electronic units influenced by early Warp Records. These experiences continue to shape his approach today, forming a multilayered foundation beneath his sound. His style centers on a broad spectrum of techno, with no specific focus on era or subgenre. What he values most is dissonance and deviation, expressed through the intentional use of textural unease. He is drawn to subtle irregularities, such as glitches in rhythm, unexpected transitions, and unstable atmospheres that invite listeners into unfamiliar terrain. His mixes conjure distorted spaces and twisted grooves, aiming not only to move the body but to resonate on a deeper, almost cellular level. For example, this podcast mix opens with a Balinese Kecak chant, setting a primal mood that lingers throughout. Rather than relying on intensity or tempo alone, Yuddy Ash builds emotional tension through slow, deliberate layering and a keen sensitivity to space and texture. Ultimately, he seeks to blur the boundary between the real and the unreal. He leads listeners into a hypnotic space where rules dissolve and perception stretches. An established veteran in the world of sci-fi techno, the Swedish-born, Berlin-based Staffan
Linzatti arrives on From Another Star with a long legacy of accomplishments behind him. A trio of albums on Axis, Field Records, and Modularz, plus singles reaching back to the mid-2000s on respected sources like Stockholm LTD, Synewave, and many others places Linzatti in a rarefied realm of producers strongly dedicated to this particular style. ‘Journey Out’ launches the EP with a tone-setting trip towards the stars, a steady sequence pushing outwards while zaps and mysterious cosmic radiation suggest ominous events approaching. A tentative arrival at ‘Line Base’ establishes an orbit, the kick circling woozy accents in the bass and set against layers of drifting ambience and static. A rhythmic experiment named after its meter, ‘Seven’ emphasizes its asymmetry with heavily reverberated, insistent percussion, a forward, lopsided bass figure, and shuffling drums underlaid by uneasy drones. ‘Those Hands’ employs a marimba-like melody at its center surrounded by an array of alien sounds and set to a steady four beat pulse with shifting accents. With slowly pulsing bass, intermittent bleeps, and a sweeping, hollowed out, sustained synthesizer invading its middle, ‘Drawn Towards the Center’ is all details, occasional tinkling hits suggesting motion in a nebulous drift. ‘Infinites’ reaches even further out, this time with added propulsion, decaying melodies, and dramatic pad intrusions, sure signs that Linzatti’s infinite explorations continue unabated.
