In late August 2013 Intricate Cuts will be presenting the newest addition to their catalog, «Bad Bee» by August Rush. The single will include the original version of the track and a remix by Deep Lark.

All you have to do... is listen», — the lead character of «August Rush» film was telling us. At the heart of the plot there is a touching story of musician and how music is uniting people. Probably, this was the reason why Arkhangelsk-based producers Alexander Shelchkov and Alexey Maltsev decided to name their duo “August Rush”. Their creative works are always full of freshness, lightness and easiness, as well as sincere emotions, just the like original movie. It seems like the guys decided to follow those testaments in full, in every aspect. Newest releases by August Rush are seen on various labels on a regular basis, their tracks and remixes catch the attention of A-league club players including Max Graham and Eximinds, some of their works have already climbed up into Beatport’s Top-100 in «Progressive» and «Nu-Disco» categories. Alexander and Alexey run their own «August All The Time Show» on Pure.FM Radio and currently are on a friendly footing with Answer42 – a collaboration track is hopefully soon to be announced and presented to the fans. One year ago the guys made their debut on Intricate Records with two original productions, «Here & Now» and «This Is The August Rush», and in June 2013 their latest track «Galaxy Cats» was featured on the label’s debut compilation, «Intricate Sessions». The next step for the duo from Arkhangelsk is join the Intricate Cuts sublabel musical family with the deep house single «Bad Bee», which has a special remix from the yet unknown mysterious producer Deep Lark alongside the original version.

Way Out West (a.k.a Nick Warren & Jody Wisternoff) present their new studio album - ‘Tuesday Maybe’ - to be released on June 16th on Anjunadeep (“One of the hottest electronic labels in the world” - Hype Machine).

The pioneering duo have forged a reputation as as one of the UK’s most influential electronic acts in their 25 years together, reaching the Top 20 of the UK’s singles chart, touring their live show globally, and remixing the likes of Orbital, Unkle, James Holden, St. Etienne and Ian Brown.

In addition to their impressive collaborative back catalogue, the duo are both internationally renowned DJs in their own right. Nick runs the influential Soundgarden label and has helmed eight instalments of the iconic Global Underground compilation series. Jody released a solo album on Anjunadeep in 2012 and has since mixed the last four editions of the labels much-loved compilation series, all of which have topped the iTunes Dance Album chart.

They now return as Way Out West with ‘Tuesday Maybe’ their fifth LP, and their first in almost eight years.

Known for fusing elements of breaks, techno, trance and progressive house, Nick and Jody again combine wide-ranging influences on their new album. Title track ‘Tuesday Maybe’ has become something of a cult favourite since it’s release in early 2016, it’s haunting melody and rolling low-end becoming a firm favourite for the likes of Pete Tong, Lee Burridge and John Digweed. Parisian legend I:Cube worked his magic on an atmospheric remix that was supported by Mano Le Tough, Ricardo Villalobos and Maceo Plex.

Across the LP we hear a contemporary take on classic Way Out West elements, from raucous basslines and ravey breakbeats on ‘Set My Mind’ and ‘Slam’, to warm melodic deep house on ‘Lullaby Horizon’ and ‘We Move In The Dark’, featuring vocals from Hendrik Burkhard. The duo collaborate with five vocalists on the album, including label-mates Eli & Fur on opening track ‘Running Away’, and former Solomun collaborator Liu Bei on ‘Oceans’.

Released alongside the announcement of the album, ‘Oceans’ is a trademark piece of emotive dancefloor music from Nick and Jody, pairing textured melodies with haunting vocals.

Throughout 2017 Way Out West bring their well-honed live show to venues large and small across North America and the UK, with a notable performance at Glastonbury Festival in June the week after the album’s release.

‘Tuesday Maybe’ is set to be the eigth artist album to be released on Anjunadeep, an A&R hotbed celebrated for the release of debut LPs from Dusky, Cubicolor and Lane 8. With nearly 300 single releases and a string of iTunes #1 albums and compilations under its belt, the label has distinguished itself as one of the scene’s leading imprints, earning glowing coverage everywhere from Resident Advisor to Pitchfork, whilst receiving heavy support on BBC Radio 1 from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, B.Traits and Phil Taggart.
