This is the song that made it to the radio. 📻Funny thing is after I wrote this I almost threw it away. 🗑I figured it would be misunderstood as a shot at Ike Turner. It is not. He is dead and my opinion of him isn’t negative. I’m sure the stuff in the movie happened. Yet, it’s deeper than that. Have to take into account his background etc. In no way am I making excuses for him. Yet, the time he lived in and the ptsd he experienced I’m sure traumatized him. Rest easy Mr Turner. Hopefully the imagery of you will change one day.
