Wasn't the teletype on Ralph's intro of Wayne on WINS playing backwards?  I remember for a time (late 80's / early '90's), 1010 actually played their teletype loop backwards.  Not noticeable to those listening on their car radios as they were driving to and from work, but if they were listening on their headphones . . .

This WPST Retrospective was compiled in 2005 from various sources, featuring many of the on-air talents that were heard, roughly from 1978 – 1998. 

In 2005, WPST moved down the dial to 94.5 MHz and continues today, playing contemporary hit music.
