Glory To Our Saviour King

Another very old track, revamped and renamed!  I have given this a very different feel to the original.  Recorded in Logic Pro X with Kontakt 5.

Dark River

This piece is full orchestra!  A piece designed to capture the feeling of the riders or Rohan as the ride to war in Minas Tirith.  Written before the film and newly updated using Spitfire Albion and Logic Pro X.  

The Riders Of Rohan

Another track inspired from 'Lord of the Rings'.  A theme for Aragorn, a ranger of the north, before the War of the Ring and his return to the throne (to be dealt with in another track).  A collection of traits and emotions - wisdom, power and sadness - combined with kingly qualities that are - for the moment - veiled.

Another orchestral track with the help of Spitfire Albion.  

Ranger Of The North

A tune that came to me while noodling around with some new libraries.  Made with 100% Spitfire Audio instruments: Solo Strings (Cello), OA Chamber Evolutions, Labs Soft Piano, Spitfire Percussion, and Labs Modular Piano.

Frost In The Sunlight

More of a motif than a full piece, this is a test/experiment with Albion NEO.

Starlight

The track was produced in Logic using a variety of libraries and instruments from Spitfire Audio including Felt Piano, Solo Strings, OACE, Spitfire Percussion and a number of LABS sounds.

Hand In Hand

This piece was created with the Spitfire Audio BBC SO Core library, and Logic stock plug-ins.  It's an orchestral piece a little in the style of John Williams.

A short piano piece produced with Komplete (The Maverick, Massive X) and Logic Pro X.  Part 1 is piano only - part 2 will be a further exploration of these themes with full orchestra.

Awakening (part 1)

Awakening part 2: a further exploration of the themes in part 1, this time using full orchestra.  The orchestral plugin of choice is Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Orchestra Core edition.

The third (and final) variation of the themes in 'Awakening'.  I wanted to play more with synthesisers this time.  Really need to learn how to mix and work with them properly!!

A short 'cue' and a chance for me to test out the Cinesamples libraries that I got earlier this year.  In short - they sounds good - though some more woodwinds would be welcome!  Produced in Logic Pro.

Many years ago I wrote a suite of music inspired by the science fiction TV series 'Babylon 5'.  I have now started to re-record and update these tracks.  This is the first of four.  Part 1: Prelude.

Dust And Memories
