However, when does cell phone usage go too far in academia? Here, we’ll explore the effects cell phones have at school and the regulations in place to help minimize distraction, and optimize the school experience.

During the pandemic, so many things were affected, particularly live theater. The Waynflete theater students struggled through rehearsals with lots of hand sanitizer, masks, and occasional Zoom rehearsals. Through it all, however, they persevered, and the theater program has come back even stronger.

In the spring of 2024, students in “Spanish 3 Intensive" worked on a unit about the news, writing and researching their own news story. These pieces were then transformed into audio journalism with the guidance of local podcast producer Emma Reynolds. Students found news clips, music, and recorded their own narration to create an original podcast.
